Bartgen is a web-based application for creating and maintaining academic genealogies. It was designed to trace the offspring of an academic and to represent these relationships hierarchically across many generations. The application was developed and tested on::

• Windows 2000 & 2003
• Internet Information Server (IIS 5 & 6)
• ColdFusion 5.0 & CFMX 6.1
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000

The source will be provided free for non-commercial use. Individuals interested in acquring the Academic Genealogy Program should send an email to chlowe@uci.edu. Please indentify your instituional affiliation within the email and acknowledge your acceptance of the following license agreement.
